NEWS!!

I'm so excited to be sharing this news with you. After the sudden and unexpected closure of Carabelle Studio at the end of 2023, I am very happy to be able to continue designing and share my crazy quirky designs with you all, with the fabulous Paper Artsy! Yay!! And thanks so much to the Paper Artsy team for the very warm welcome.

I have been playing with mixed media for many years now, but I can tell you that Paper Artsy stamps were the very first stamps I ever purchased. Yep, from the Ink and the Dog range. And I am very happy to now be working alongside such a creative and talented team :-)

I'll be going LIVE on Paper Artsy People (open) group on FB tonight at 7.30 (UK BST) 8.30 Paris time, sharing my new designs. After that they will be available for purchase from retailers. You can find a link of international *stockists* on the Paper Artsy *blog here*. You can also check out my full blog post with lots of photos and explanation after the live.

I've got a lot to share, so hope you will join me for the live!

Exciting news!

You may have noticed I have been a little quiet lately, but I have in fact been a very busy bee behind the scenes. Here is a little sneak peek of what I have been up to ... watch this space!

More news coming NEXT week but in the meantime I will be sharing more little snippets ;-)

Oh, but if you're coming to the shop at Port Sunlight this coming Saturday all will be revealed,  and you can find me with Stampers Grove :-)

Woooohooooooooooooo! :-)

New Grafix video!

My latest video for Grafix is on YouTube now! Using inks on DuraLar Wet Media (love that stuff!), and then turning them into delicious little collages.

Free to view ... lasts about 5 mins ... I hope you'll visit! ðŸ™‚

More TN love

Another little colourful collage page in the accordion insert in my Midori Traveler’s Journal. You can see a sneaky peek at my next page in there too. I love my TN - the inserts make it so diverse - I’ve got everything from shopping lists to urban sketching to collage all in one place!

This page has ledger, alcohol ink on Grafix DuraLar wet media (I’m using up scraps from demoing recently) and a gorgeous butterfly sticker (did I tell you how much I love stickers?!) I’m teaching a class on this at Art from the Heart (UK) but I think it’s now full, so I will be seeing some of you soon for some TN shenanigans 😉

You can just see a little peek at the beginnings of my next journal page ....

The sticker is a FABULOUS PET tape from London Gifties

The joy of ink. And scribble.

I always did love a bit of scribble. I think it's a rebellion against educational standards of 'write on the lines', 'colour within the lines'. These loose and scribblyoages are done on a small scale in my much loved Midori Travelers Notebook - passport size.

This first one is coloured with a combination of watercolour and fountain pen ink.

And this page in coloured purely with fountain pen inks. It has some gorgeous shimmer which just doesn't show in the photo.

I have some classes coming up at Art from the Heart (Harrogate UK) and you can check them out *here* or on this page on my blog *here*. So, maybe I'll see you there?!
